This spring going into summer has been busy, busy at DITTO. So many new things coming in have made for long days. The racks are chock full of wonderful quality clothes and I think we have more shoes that have never been worn than we've ever had. There are all sorts of reasons I hear that the shoes just didn't work out as someone had planned, but you reap the benefits! We have $150 COACH sandals that are gorgeous (less than 1/3 that cost in our shop), $94 BORN sandals for $30some, and many other super brands and styles for summer at a fraction of original cost. Tops were BIG this past month, but still getting nice shorts and capri's and if you need a summer dress - we have some darling sundresses with spaghetti straps, halters, and cool cotton knits. A great summer dress can take you anywhere from looking pulled together for a grocery run to a summer wedding. I tagged no less than 50 LOFT tops last week alone, other notable brands are Delia's, J.Crew, Hollister, AGB. I could find a dozen Lg & XL tops with tags and I'll wager I could also find them on any rack at Macy's today.

Also start thinking about last years fall things you would like to consign - I would like to start taking fall no later than August 1st! I'll keep you updated!

One last note: PURSE'S. Do you have LIKE NEW ones? Bring a few to sell!

The past two weeks could be called 'shoe weeks'. Every now and then new arrivals of a certain thing stands out more than others and this week it is shoes. I priced 12 prs of shoes this past Saturday alone and more yesterday. We have a couple pairs each of Clarks & Born sandals, an outstanding pair of COACH sandals, flats, heels - Nice variety of sizes.

Ditto is a Consignment Shop for

ladies and jr. girls fashions, located in Dresden, Ohio.

Ditto will specialize in clothing and accessories for ladies and juniors. We are looking for consignment items which are special. The consignment split will be on a 50/50 basis.

Clothes must be: In Style, Seasonally Appropriate - (whatever is being sold currently in stores), Freshly Laundered, Pressed & Odor free (sorry, but we cannot accept items if they smell of smoke no matter how awesome they are).

Excessive signs of wear will not be accepted, nor will sweaters with pilling.

Overall – What we are trying to say in way too many words:

They must be clean, in EXCELLENT Condition and Ready To Sell.

We absolutely cannot accept clothing in bags.

Items must be on hangers. (which will gladly be returned as we DO NOT need hangers).

Hanging will keep them neat.

Sweaters may be neatly folded. I will NOT hang heavy sweaters as it stretches them out.

Items we are looking for:

Name Brand and/or Better Label Jackets, Jeans, Blouses, Coats, Dresses, Skirts, Pants, Maternity, Uniforms, Pocketbooks, New Shoes, Accessories, Jewelry and more!

Most sizes needed including plus sizes.

Only super special t-shirts or knit tops.

In demand

Ladies: J Jill, J.Crew, Ann Taylor, Tahari, Talbots,Tryst, Liz, RL Polo, Coldwater Creek, CHICO's, and too many more to mention.

Always - newer purses and new or nearly new shoes.

For the teens: A&F, Hollister, AE, Pink (Victoria Secret)

When you bring your items in, we will select what our customers will buy. Sometimes there will be items which we cannot accept. Please don’t be offended if we have to say “no thank-you” to some items. We will strive to accept the best brands in the best condition.

There is a $5.00 annual fee to open an account.

When can you bring items in?

You may bring in your items at your convenience during business hours on Thursday's and Saturday's when possible.

We can make special arrangements if needed.

For many reasons we may not be able to look at your items while you are there. You may leave your items using what will be called DROP & RUN. We may then ask you to come back for the items we cannot accept, or you may choose to have us donate them if you are not interested in taking them back. Whenever possible, we will try to inspect items upon arrival and immediately give you back anything we do not think will sell.

We do not accept or sell replica purses.

(It may go without saying, but we'll say it for now - Items we don’t accept: boys, mens, childrens, infants, anything stained, buttons missing, damaged, overly worn, sweaters with 'pills', worn or scuffed shoes, outdated styles).

Our business is to offer quality and our reputation depends on it.

Our consignment period is 60 days. You may stop in anytime during that time to pick up money from items sold. We do not mail checks. For all present consignor's, please refer to your 'Consignment Terms' handout.

We have new arrivals on the shop floor every day, please stop in often.
